I explore through poetry themes of home and heredity, language, religion. Currently I live in Central Vermont painting watercolors inspired by the whimsy of children’s illustration and Appalachian flora/fauna. I’ve taught English to high schoolers in Austria and German to high schoolers in America. What interests me currently: philology, lyricism in songwriting, ESL, women’s health, heredity, the Rust Belt, yoga, baking, bouldering.
